12 Hinduites get into Aspire Leaders Program, Aspire Institute, founded at Harvard University

The Office of International Programs of Hindu College is delighted upon the selection of 11 Hinduites for the Aspire Institute's Leaders Program founded at Harvard University. It is a matter of pride that 6 of the 12 selected candidates are Hindu College's International Students. We are thrilled that our students from India and Abroad have been recognised for their hard work and potential. Hindu College student presents research at Oxford
20th April 2023
Saathvik Devarakonda, from 2nd year B.A Philosophy (Hons) presented a talk at Oxford on his research on Indian Philosophy, Cognitive Biases and Philosophical Practice. This presentation of a research paper titled “Syad-Narrative as a Philosophical Practice Tool to Minimise Cognitive Biases” at Oxford University is his first-ever presentation in person. His research was published in the HASER Journal of Seville University, Spain.

Tashi Lhazom from 3rd year B.A Political Science (Hons) achieves excellence at various International endeavors. Her achievements include
Girl Rising Fellow 2022-2023, Girl Rising Organization
She got selected as a Youth Leader from Nepal for the Climate Action Champions Network Conference, Observer Research Foundation.
She won a national-level competition to become a mentee to the Swiss Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. Elisabeth Von Capeller.
She is a key panelist on discussing " Gender- based domestic violence against women" on International Women's Day 2022.
