About Us

Hindu College has taken the initiative to embrace academic excellence at an international level. The Office of International Programs aims to promote global networking in the domains of education and academic research by establishing collaborations with prestigious universities globally. Through innovative academic visiting and cultural exchange programs, we want to help students interact with peers and develop perspectives on global issues. This will also provide them with international exposure to diverse learning methods, nurture their talents and develop skills that help them grow intellectually. It will further create a dialogue between students from diverse backgrounds, develop multicultural tolerance and understanding, while fostering team spirit.

What we've done

Hindu College has partnered with several international universities for academic exchange programs. We collaborated with the National University of Singapore, Singapore for a faculty and student exchange. Under this program, 7 students have visited the College to study for one semester each in various arts and science courses such as, Political Science, History, and Zoology. Sponsored by the World Bank, another faculty exchange program was initiated in 2010 between Kabul University and Delhi University. A faculty member of the Statistics Department of Hindu College was one of the Resource Persons for this partnership, which was done towards the Strengthening Education Program (SHEP) in Kabul University. A faculty member of the College had the opportunity to be a part of the Department Applied Statistics in Debub University, Awassa, Ethiopia under a UNDP Teaching Assignment for a year from 2004 to 2005.

The College also offers one-year certificate, self-financing courses in the following foreign languages: German, Spanish, and French. The courses are conducted in collaboration with institutions like the Goethe Institute/Max Mueller Bhawan, Institute Cervantes, and Alliance Francaise de Delhi.
