Our Pastor
Our Pastor
Pastor Betty Proctor is a native of Tennessee and was raised with a background in missions. Her parents were medical missionaries in Palestine for thirteen years and served in East Africa during their retirement years. Betty became part of the United Methodist Church in 1995 as a volunteer youth director at Pegram United Methodist Church. The call to live out her Christian faith has been a constant in Betty's life.
Betty's undergraduate studies were at Belmont University — with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy. She earned a Masters Degree in Teaching from the University of Alaska Southeast and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Seminary.
Pastor Betty believes in the power of the Church to change the world — one life and community at a time. We are disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. She ministers with a spirit of invitation for all people and a love for empowering fellow disciples on this journey of following Christ.
