This course is about introducing foundational Outdoor Education skills such as risk management and teamwork through a range of contexts. The aim of this course is to prepare our students for Yr11 in at least two practical skills which could be from the following:
Rock Climbing
Mountain Biking
Bike Maintenance
Team Challenges
Sea Kayaking
Camping, Hiking and being outdoors
Orienteering/Navigation
Archery

Location: Whakaraupō / Lyttleton Harbour from Cass Bay to Quail Island

Jump Start - deep water confidence course at Parakiore (Permission form sent on School Bridge this week)
Dates: weekly, starting week 3 til week 7, Wednesdays P4 & P5 only. (11th Feb, 18th Feb, 25th Feb, 4th Mar & 11th Mar)
Will need togs & towel, optional: googles
