Session 1 - Story time.
With your child, listen to the teacher reading the story and asking some questions.
Your child's teacher will ask questions throughout the story and ask some more once it's finished. You can pause at anytime to allow your child to answer the question in a full sentence
e.g. Teacher: What did the dog do?
Child: jump
Parent: In a full sentence please.
Child: The dog jumped over the hedge.
You should correct your child if they answer the question incorrectly. This should be done in a positive way e.g. That's a great try, but I think...

Session 2 - My turn, your turn.
Your child's teacher is going to say or do something, you must then do the same. It might be an instruction, a silly face or an action.
You should try to join in and encourage your child to copy and mirror their teacher in the video.
Session 3 - Number of the day.
Today's special number is the number 1.
Watch the video and answer some of these questions with your child:
On your body, what do you only have ONE of?
Are you younger or older than the number 1?
Can you name a food that you would only eat one at a time of?
Can you find the number 1 anywhere in your home?
Does today's date have a number 1 in it?
Can you draw the number 1?
Can you say the number one?
Can you hold up ONE object?
Can you show the number one using your fingers?
Session 4 - Mark making.
Today's special mark is a circle.
Watch the video and follow some of the instructions below with your child:
Can you draw a circle?
Can you say the words circle?
Can you find any circles in your home? Where are they?
On a car, where can you see a circle?
Which type of transport might have circle windows?
Session 5 - Let's sing.
Today's special song is: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Watch the video with your child and listen to the song.
Watch the video again and this time, sing some of the rhymes with your child.
Watch the video once more and pause at various points; allow your child to attempt to sing the rest of the song from where you have paused.
Include actions to help your child remember the words.
Ask some questions related to the rhyme:
Where do we see stars?
Can you draw a star?
Can you say the word star?
Can you point to where stars are at night?
Can you decorate a star?
