Q: We cannot log in to bug club from the phone or from the iPad. It only works from the laptop which is not very practical sometimes. Is there anything that can be done to this. Have they change the settings to the website?
A: We are not aware of any changes to the website settings. Please try some of the following suggestions:
Please let us know if you still cannot log-in after trying the above.
Q: What stage are children in Reception expected to have reached by the end of the year?
A: All children work at different stages and progress at different speeds so this may be different for each child. There is more information here regarding where we expect children to be working during Reception. Hope this helps! :)
Q: I don't know my child's log in details.
A: There are no log in details for this website. If you have forgotten your log in details for Bug Club etc. please complete this form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Q: If we are doing a project at home, how can we share it with you? E.g. a picture or a video, so you can give your feedback to the child and boost their confidence?
A: Fantastic to hear the children are working hard on projects at home! To send us these pictures, please go onto the 'WOW WORK' page, there is an email address to send your pictures to. We will then post some of the pictures onto this website on the wow work page along with a personalised comment.
Q: Some websites are not working on my child's tablet.
A: We have tested this website on multiple devices. Some devices require a 'Flash Player' to enable an interactive website to work, please install a flash player or similar to access this content. Laptops and computers work best, but mobile devices can equally have a flash player installed.
Q: How much reading should my child be doing at home everyday whilst not at school?
A: We recommend daily reading for 5/10 mins depending on your child's attention span. Remember, reading is made up of questions, talking about pictures and conversation. Not just sounding out words.
