The Hill County Shared Services Arrangement serves over 550 students with disabilities as defined by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA, 2004). Services provided are Educational Evaluations, Speech Therapy, Related Service Counseling, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Assistive Technology Services. HCSSA employs Diagnosticians, Speech-Language Pathologists and SLP-As, Occupational Therapists and COTAs, an Assistive Technology Coordinator, Licensed Specialists in School Psychology, a Transition Specialist/VAC Coordinator, Behavior Specialists, and an Autism Specialist.

HCSSA is located in Hillsboro, Texas. We are 60 miles south of Ft. Worth and 30 miles north of Waco. Although our main office is in Hillsboro, the organization serves ten school districts all over Hill County - Abbott ISD, Aquilla ISD, Bynum ISD, Covington ISD, Hubbard ISD, Itasca ISD, Malone ISD, Mt. Calm ISD, Penelope ISD, and Whitney ISD. We also serve one school district, Gholson ISD, in McLennan County.
