CONCERT BAND

Holy Innocents’ High School Symphonic Band aims to inculcate in all its members a strong sense of discipline, a well-balanced musical education and a deep passion and appreciation for music-making.

Having achieved the Certificate of Accomplishment in the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation over the years, the band has a strong sense of identity and camaraderie, delighting in performing music of various genres. The band has vast opportunities for experiential learning, musical exchanges and learning from practising musicians.

As an active performing arts CCA of the school, the band prides itself with every opportunity to contribute and perform for and on behalf of the school. Having taken part in SYF Parade of Bands at Orchard Road, SG200 Series: Rhapsodies of Singapore Concert at SOTA, Istana Open House and Pope Francis in SG, the members of Holy Innocents’ High School Symphonic Band rejoice in bringing music to the community and igniting passion for music through regular band activities and performances. The band members have also put up their own Intemporel series of concerts over the years to develop their leadership and musical skills and engage the community in appreciating music. The endearing memories of playing music in the band always warm the hearts of the band members and its alumni.
