Our project started by being put into different groups; from there, I did research about how to make a burger. We had to make a short story about a food that had an impact on us.. We made a recipe from someone's food story choice.
For this project, we were put into different groups of four so that each student had their section of this project to do on their own; each student had a topic for one side of the wheel. For instanc, we had to find the energy from each student's topic, like transportation, farming, and money, that would consume all the energy from the food branch. From there was a place for the food to be transported to those high-end companies, and the energy that is produced to get to stores.
We made a blueprint based on the story that was made by me and my partner. My partner made a separate story, then we put our stories together to make a chain reaction from things around the class that showed what we thought about for a design. It starts with how my partner went from the redwoods, which are near Northern California, to an In N Out, then it goes to my story where I just got back from a road trip in Los Angeles, back to San Diego, after going to a Mexican foods spot to a beach.
For this project, each student had to choose a topic they've been learning about from the given topics on the wall, as to understand the project and present what we've been learning. Each student had a different choice, like drawing the food, building the food, recording interviews, and learning from articles and documents. Students also had to give a proposal for the topic that was selected
For our final project, we made a video, but the goal was to make our video an interview, to be an educational assignment where we researched topics like whether we would rather have normal meat or vegan meat and why. After they answered, we informed them of the pros and cons of that food, like how that veggie meat can cause cancer from being a very processed food, and is high in sodium.

The artist statement was for people to have a better understanding of what our projects were targeting to really explain the plan and what we were doing in our project.
The Desmos portrait shows a lot of what we were learning in math. It was a project where we made a self-portrait of ourselves by taking a picture of our self then tracing it with some equation types of forms. We used three types of lines: linear, circular, and parabolic.
We made a document and had to show an equation, and the type of equation we used for a part of our Face from our Desmos portrait, where we had to trace an image of our face using equations. For example, my eye was made out of parabolic equation, which was used to make the curve in the bottom of my eye.
In our first semester, we had to make a story and comic slides and a product for our partner to talk about to each other, and learned about our favorite foods and sentimental memories about it. Our question that we asked was, so who really decides what we eat, what is given to you, or what you choose to eat?
