This was a project in which we made a tapestry that showed our feild trips but also mixed the story of the place Anza Borrego. We went camping there where we did new experience with school. It was half the grade camping at once together in a distance from school and home.
The film was a video of my group and the surrounding area of Anza Borrego, throughout the days from getting there till the next day, looking at the sunrise from on top of the mountain. We went to Anza Borrego to gather the weather data so we can make a weather report video for a project.
The weather report was a project where we went out of the regular learning environment from a school building to Anza Borrego to gather information to make the video. We camped there for a day, then throughout the day we would gather data on the heat to make a weather report.
The Epic Article was project that was to start helping us format our writing to make a cleaner type of writting to present. We talked about an epic jounery from the six trips we went on. I decided to choose the Anza Borrego trip because it was the most memorable. I talked about an important momment that I had there.
The ropes course project and card were about the epic journey that we took to Orange County to go to the ropes course that was in that area. We went there to have a better understanding of Newton's laws. We learned about tension, weight, and force in physics. We also made a card that we had to write about when we used Newton's law on the ropes course . We shared a moment and how it felt while climbing the course.
During this project our goal was to make a cardboard boat that you were able to float on. We used buoyancy. We went on a trip before hand paddle borading to figure out which way would be better to ride a boat in the bay. We went to Mission Bay to have a better understanding of the buoyancy.
Mission Trails graph was where we went on trip before hand to Mission Trails to gather data every fithteen minutes. I decided to choose heart beat per fifteen minutes. After gathering data, we made a graph on desmos for a visual graph and to get the domain and range.
The Mission Trails post card was a project I felt was interesting where we had made a digital postcard to later print, I felt that it was something cool as a project to be able to do some designing.
The paddle boarding was just to have a better understanding on buoyancy. We went to Mission Bay to try to paddle board to learn how to prepare ourselves for the boat. We used the forces that we used at Mission Bay.
