Double exposure

For my Math Identity Card, I talked about myself and did graphs about stuff that we picked like how many sports we play. We wrote about the stuff we picked and why, we also talked about how we compared to our class in Math terms.

Story Box and Tag

For my Story box I had to make a box made out of wood, the box was made to hold pictures that I recreated with different toys the pictures represented my partners daily routine. we also did a tag that went on the box that said the story but instead of it being with pictures it was written.

For my Hero Story I picked the American Hero, I had to base my Hero of the American ideals. I wrote the story about my hero in a google docs, I talked  about a soldier whos name is  George.

Graphic Novel

My groups Graphic Novel was about a girl named Anastasia, to make this project it took us about 3 to 4 weeks and a group of 10 people. To make the comic book we first did a sketch of what the page looked like and then we photoshopped pictures that we took. We finished off the project by editing the pictures into a more cartoony look.

Camera Obscura

For the Camera Obscura we made 2 holes in a box that was big enough to fit our heads and the other one was a small square shaped hole. For the inside of the box we used a blank sheet of paper taped in the opposite side of the hole. To project the image we covered the small hole with foil tape and made a pin hole on the tape. When you used the Camera Obscura it showed whatever was behind you.

Pinhole camera

For the pinhole camera we used a box and poked a hole in it, we also made the box be light proof so no light go in the box. To take the photos we had to use a special paper and load the paper in a light proof room that doesnt let light go in.

For my Math Self Portrait we used the picture we took at balboa park, we outlined the picture with equations like y=mx+b. To outline the pictures we used a site called desmos. To finish the project that took us about a month we put a QR code on it so people could scan it and we printed it out.

To make my annotations we used the Math self portrait, we took screenshots of lines that touched other lines. After we took the screen shots we solved the equations on the lines using substitution and elimination, we also created tables for the equations.

Dear Math letter

For our Dear Math Letter we wrote a letter to math as if it was a person, we explained our feelings to math. I wrote about the hate we have for math and also the love for math. We also wrote about how math has been with us through the years.
