Wondering about my academic journey? Well, my journey started at Cuyamaca college right after high school. I imagined teaching k-5, so I became a liberal studies major. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher but pursued a life in retail instead.  Retail life taught me great customer service skills that can be translated into the classroom. While still working full time, I transferred to San Diego State University in 2015. I then spent another few years imagining a life in the classroom, though I still pursued upper retail management. 

In 2019, I became an academic coach at Helix Charter High School. As well as, obtained a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Education, Psychology, and Communication. I spent three years within the Helix Charter High School community until a close friend highlighted a graduate program. This is the where my true educator voyage began. 

I started The High Tech Graduate School In 2022. This program has helped me to obtain my teaching credential and my Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning.
