Also another first time thing I did this week was try and do resin. Zach Ask for some help with the cracks of wood and What I had to do was fill them all up with risen. I also wasn't to familiar on that so I ask Zach to walk me threw it so he did. After I understood what I needed to do I got to it. I enjoyed this a lot because I've seen risen work before and how it looks and its very beautiful I think its super cool. I was very grateful for Zach give me Knowledge on how to mix the risen and how to place and just little tips while I'm doing it.
So to end the week I learned how to stain and finish wood and here's a picture of me doing one side of a closet. It was a pretty simple and easy process all I needed was paint thinner and the stain color and I was all set. Don my mentor taught me the best way to finish the closet which was using a brush and a rag to help wipe the color on. Also forgot to mention the person that is buying this wanted a distorted greyish color which looked pretty cool I thought. Other then that This week was a solid week of internship I'm starting to pick it up way more and doing more also knowing my role here at the shop. Its almost kind of a bummer this is coming to a end I've really enjoyed this internship and the people I've meet interning with but now I am Anxious to go use the knowledge I've gained in the real world.
