Ecobrick Timelines 

Our 4th graders practiced monitoring and becoming aware of their single use plastic by keeping a living timeline of their plastic waste throughout Trimester 2.  Students were tasked with saving all single-use plastic items they used throughout the week and adding them to our classroom collection.  We weighed our ecobricks on a weekly basis to track how our waste accumulated.  Each ecobrick weighs around 200 grams!  We used these bricks to build our structure in the garden.
