Much of the work that High Rock Security does is outdoors in the elements be that the heat of the high desert, snow in the Sierra Nevada's, or anything in-between. We provide the logos but you must come prepared for whatever nature may throw at you.

HRS Staff represents professionalism, responsibility, and dependability. The way we dress plays a key role in upholding that standard.
HRS provides shift jackets/hoodies/shirts that must be returned immediately at the end of your shift. You may be charged for the cost of any jackets or other gear that is not returned.
HRS logoed gear can only be worn while on duty with HRS
Basic Requirements
Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Obtain and maintain a valid State Security Guard license (e.g., Guard Card, Work Card) and complete all required state training.
Attend and understand site-specific training for each assigned job site.
Basic Abilities & Expectations
Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, work ethic, and attitude.
Conflict Resolution: Approach situations non-confrontationally and help resolve issues or de-escalate tense situations in a positive manner.
Reliability: Be on time for shifts and ready to work with all necessary supplies.
Communication: Communicate effectively and clearly with the public, management, and emergency personnel.
Conduct: Stay off cell phones unless using a work-related app, and work effectively with minimal direct supervision.
Interpersonal Skills: Be approachable, maintain visibility to the public, and use good judgment in interactions with Law Enforcement.
Basic Job Functions
Surveillance & Patrol: Patrol on foot or stand guard at a fixed post to observe and report—the two primary functions of the role.
Safety Enforcement: Ensure a safe environment by enforcing client policies, reporting hazardous conditions (e.g., fires, medical emergencies), and providing crowd control for emergency responders.
Reporting & Documentation: Take detailed incident notes, record witness statements, gather and preserve physical evidence , and submit all required reports to Shift Leads or Management.
Operational Tasks: Use a two-way radio, receive assignments from management, maintain assigned equipment in a clean state, and perform other related duties as assigned.
