You have chosen to hire your student employee using S&A or Department Funds. Before proceeding, please be aware that students must meet and maintain, at minimum, a 2.5 GPA and enroll in at least 6 credits for the quarter they are working. You can find further information about these requirements by visiting the website.
Each time you begin the process of hiring a student employee, please fill out the "Hiring for Student Employment" form linked below.
This form should be filled out for every new or returning student hire, as it helps us track hiring activity across campus.
All new student employee must complete the New Student Employee Orientation and the FERPA Quiz.
Students will take screenshots of their completed quizzes and share them with you, the hiring supervisor. You should be checking with the students that they have completed these prior to check marking the appropriate boxes during the next step.
Career & Transfer Services does not need copies of the screenshots.
