Biologic topics cover a wide range from physiology, behavior, and comparative anatomy to paleoecology, evolution, and extinction. Geologic topics include fossilization processes, geologic time, sedimentology, and paleo-tectonics. If you take this class, you will experience a deeper engagement in the scientific method and learn to apply critical thinking skills, construct and test hypotheses, and come to logical conclusions based on fossil and other types of data.
