In Geo 100, you will investigate Earth resources, their use and associated impact, and influence on public policy and society through discussions and activities covering a variety of geologic topics. You will explore contemporary environmental problems such as mineral and rock resources, energy resources, waste management and climate change as well as the relationship between these topics and population growth. This course includes a lab and meets both the Science and Lab Science requirements of the AA-DTA. This class would be an excellent choice for a student exploring environmental science/studies, natural resources, or climate change (business, economics, law, policy).
