DAY 1: Sunday 12th October 

FROM: UK TO: Marrakesh 

Depart London Heathrow T5 at 08:15, flight no. BA668. Arrive in Marrakesh 11.55. 

Team 2 will be met by their in-country representative and transferred by private bus to the hotel. This afternoon, students will take a walk into the markets and will stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2: Monday 13th October 

FROM: Marrakesh TO: Ait Ben Haddou

After breakfast, Team 2 will drive over the Anti-Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate. Take a short detour to explore the World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou.

Overnight stay in the hotel.

Team 2 stop off at Kasbah de Telout to admire views and see the ruins from the distance.

Tasty buffet lunch before a short journey to Hotel La Kasbah.

Team 2's road trip to Ait Ben Haddou. They stopped at a few view points on the way, had a buffet lunch, strolled through the streets of Ait Ben Haddou then finished the night with a rooftop dinner.

DAY 3: Tuesday 14th October

FROM: Ait Ben Haddou TO: Tazzarine

Team 2 will take a short drive to Ouarzazate then over the Anti Atlas to the Draa valley. Continue along the southern slopes of Jebel Saghro to the oasis of Tazzarine.

Overnight stay at camp.

DAY 4: Wednesday 15th October  

FROM: Tazzarine TO: Tamardanite

Team 2 will continue on the southern slopes to Rissani, in the large palmeraie of Tafilalete. After a short visit, they will drive to Merzouga. Meet the camel handlers and ride/hike along the expensive dunes to the desert camp.

Overnight stay at the desert camp.

DAY 5: Thursday 16th October 

FROM: Tamardanite TO: Alemdoun

After breakfast, Team 2 will ride back to Merzouga then drive to Tinghir. Detour to Todgha gorge with a short hike. They will continue to the village of Alemdoun in the Rose Valley.

Overnight stay in a village house (gite).

Team 2 this morning at breakfast before riding the camels back out from the desert.

Team 2 stop on their way to visit an irrigation system.

Lunchtime.
