Many of our students choose either an academic pathway through university or choose a vocational pathway, gaining apprentice positions in various media companies including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV as well as gaining employment on feature films and visual effects houses. Student success is high, with previous students forming their own company and producing and directing commercials for KFC and Tesco. We have seen success with our students entering the broadcasting sector working on high end programmes including Love Island, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and Britain’s Got Talent. It can also lead to employment in areas such as video technology, shooting drama, video editing, layering sound on screen, designing graphics and idents for screens, factual programme production techniques, producing advertisements
