Over 85% of our students choose to go to University, approximately 10% choose to pursue higher level or degree apprenticeships and 5% choose to go into employment or take a gap year. There are students from the 2019/20 year 13 cohort who are currently studying at Oxford University, London School of Economics and Exeter University to name but a few. During the course of the year students are taken to university fairs and take part in a higher education day with universities and employers in order to guide them through the various application processes. A team of experienced form tutors support students writing their personal statements. We also invite various speakers from different pathways who offer insight into their careers, allowing students to make informed decisions before they make any applications. This academic year we had professionals from the banking industry, medical and technological industries visit the school and speak to students. The table below has an overview of the universities our students have progressed onto.
