Due to the delayed start to the school year, AP is offering a later testing window for students. AP testing will now take place between May 18-27.

AP exams will be offered in two different formats depending on the exam. Some tests will be traditional, pencil and paper format, while other exams will only be offered in a digital format taken on a computer
If a student is taking a DIGITAL exam, they will have the option to test at school or at home.
Some digital exams have a 3:30 p.m. start time. Please take this into consideration when deciding where to test. We also strongly advise all parents and students review the exam schedule to check for conflicts with sporting events, etc.
All paper and pencil exams must be taken at school.

2021 AP Exam Schedule:

Do hhs students need to take ap exams?

If students plan on getting AP weight, they must take the AP exam in May. Otherwise, if students do not take the exam, they will only receive Honors weight in that AP course.

FEES & REGISTRATION DEADLINE

Students MUST register to take their AP exam through their AP teacher's AP Classroom before October 16th.

If students have forgotten their AP username/password: they should call AP Services- 888-225-5427

Exam fees are $95/exam.

Fees are DUE BY OCTOBER 16TH and are part of a student's school fees.

Ways to pay: Check (made out to Highland Local Schools), exact cash, OR online through PaySchools, which is accessed through the Parent Portal on www.highlandschools.org

Students with accomodations

Students requesting accommodations such as extended time must contact Mrs. Archer before October 16th to seek approval. We cannot provide accommodations unless the College Board has approved them.

Students with acute financial need may qualify for free testing. Please contact Mrs. Archer before October 16th for further information.
