Poolewe Primary School is a rural school set beside the beautiful River Ewe in the village of Poolewe, Wester Ross, in a stunning location surrounded by hills and coastline. The grounds of the school are diverse; a grass pitch for sports, playground with markings for different games, a wildlife garden, poly tunnel, raised beds, a number of playhouses and shelter spaces and various trees and shrubs.  The building has two classrooms, The Pond Class and The River Class, and a  general-purpose area used for dining and PE, Drama, Music and other activities. 

Poolewe Primary School aims to promote life long learning by helping our children develop an understanding and appreciation of themselves, their community and their environment. We actively encourage partnerships with parents, local businesses, local and national charities and organisations, as this adds value to our learning, giving it a real life context.
