Football is offered through the Highland Quarterback Club for middle school students. For more information, please visit their website by clicking HERE.
The Highland Quarterback Club was founded in 1985, after taking over from the Highland Jaycees. Throughout the past 30 years, we have proudly been committed to giving young athletes an opportunity to develop themselves physically and emotionally through athletic participation. Our organization teaches the skills and fundamentals of tackle football and cheerleading through an environment that allows each athlete to develop the skills needed to ensure success throughout their lifetime. We provide a supportive atmosphere that builds confidence and self-esteem, teaches the value of teamwork and trust, and inspires everyone to give their very best effort at all times; while teaching the importance of good health, self-discipline, and sportsmanship. Games are played every Saturday or Sunday, from the second weekend of September, to the middle of November. Home games are played at our impressive “Hunsche Field”, while away games are played in neighboring communities. We encourage each of you, your families, and friends to come and support the hard work the players, cheerleaders, and coaching staffs put forth for their teams.Since we are a self-supporting, not-for-profit organization, we have various fundraisers throughout the year. We need everyone's support and participation in order to continue to make this program effective, competitive, & successful. For more information, see our Fundraiser page or please talk to your coach or HQC board member.
