Hello!

My name is Mrs. Ashley Stone, and I am thrilled to be your 5th grade math teacher for the 2025-2026 school year! This will be my 14th year teaching in Hico, and I am so excited to see all the growth, learning, and fun this year will bring.

A Little About Me

I’m a proud Hico native! I attended Hico ISD from kindergarten through my graduation in 2007. After high school, I moved to Stephenville to attend Tarleton State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in May 2012. I hold certifications in EC-6, Generalist 4-8, Math 4-8, and ESL.

In November 2012, I married my husband, Shawn, and we moved back home to Hico. Together, we have been blessed with four wonderful children: Jaxon (11), Pason (7), Zoey (6), and Tillson (4).

I am passionate about teaching, building strong relationships with my students, and making math meaningful and fun. I can’t wait to start this school year and get to know each of you!
