Office 365 and Onenote
How to access Office 365
1. To access Office 365 you have to go to the website: office.com
2. Login by typing your Office 365 user name which is also your School's Windows login credentials (your login/user name will be composed of your School ID and School domain.)
For example, if your School ID is: 123456 then your username for Office 365 will looks like: 123456@hibs.school.nz
Your password will be the same password as you use to login to the Windows based Schools computers.
3. Once logged on, you will be redirect to home page for your Office 365.
How to download my school copy of Microsoft Office suite?
1. Login to portal.office.com using your school login.
2. From home page please click on your name/profile name, located on right upper corner of the page.
3. You should be able to see a new menu sliding on the right. Click on "View account"
4. Click on "Office Apps".
5. From here you may click on "Install office" .
6. New window will pop up showing you the steps to instal the Office on your pc. The installation file will be downloaded automatically.
How to install Office Suite (Word, Excel. PowerPoint etc.)
1. Download installation file (see instruction above)
2. Click/double click on downloaded installation file.
3. Click on "yes" to start installing.
4. Stay online as the all Office suite will be downloaded into your computer.
5. If you see the User Account Control prompt that says, "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" Click Yes.
6. Your install is finished when you see the phrase, "You're all set! Office is installed now" and an animation plays to show you where to find Office applications on your computer.
Activate Office
1. Start using an Office application right away by opening any app such as Word or Excel.
In most cases, Office is activated once you start an application and after you click Accept agreeing to the License terms.
2. Office might activate automatically. However, if you see the Microsoft Office Activation Wizard, follow the prompts to activate Office.
