Where should I go to pick up my printings?

where is located "Follow Me" Printer?

Follow Me printer is a special kind of the printer - its virtual.

Virtual printers are collecting printing jobs on a print server, and sending jobs to a physical printer, once a user is at the real\physical printer, logged in and releasing the document for printing.

You can choose any of the "big" printers, like the one in Library, or Art-Block, or Performing Arts Block or the one in Design Tech classroom.

Once you at the printer, all you need to do is to:

  1. Login to the printer by simply swiping your Student ID card at the card reader, or use printers touch screen to type your student ID and your "Windows" password.

  2. Once logged in, choose the service you wish t use, in this case is Printing.

  3. From the list of the job prints, select and release the one you wish to print.

  4. Printer will start printing requested document.

  5. Pick up printed document from printer tray.

The short generic video presented below is illustrating the process of login to a printer.

Please keep in mind that at our School we can use 2 methods that are mentioned in the movie:

  1. ID card

  2. Using username and password

However the rest of the steps are quite similar.
