Microsoft Teams for education is a powerful communication app for schools that enhances collaboration and learning. It allows teachers to communicate with their classes to set assignment, quizzes, coursework deadlines, and homework activities. It also supports remote learning, when needed.
Every student can access Microsoft Teams through their Microsoft 365 account. They also have access to a range of applications, including Powerpoint, Outlook Mail, Word, Excel plus many more.

When you double click into the Teams app, all of their subject class team sites should be visible
The 'posts' section allows your child's teacher to communicate with them about their learning. This could be to set a piece of work such as an assignment or quiz. It can also be used to remind them about a homework/ coursework deadline.
The 'files>class materials' section should contain all the the subject learning journeys. Knowledge Organisers (for Year 7) should also be saved into here.
