The school has been developing a set of learning journeys for each curriculum area. We believe that it is important for our staff to have ownership of their curriculum plans; they have been empowered to create materials and resources that are engaging, creative, relevant to our context that enables the four purposes of the curriculum to be realised so that every student aspires to be ambitious, capable learners; enterprising, creative contributors; ethical and informed citizens and healthy, confident individuals. Staff across the school have collaborated on these build on our belief of a coherent curriculum that re-visits and builds on prior knowledge and progression in knowledge, skills and experiences. They they will be shared with learners, parents and governors as the curriculum begins in September, seeking feedback and adapting as the curriculum is taught.
