All travelers are encouraged to document their journey through the collection of agent credentials. The most prominent credentials include: experience points (XP) and badges. These items will serve as evidence of a traveler's knowledge and the more credentials a traveler as, the more valuable they are to the corporation and their crews.

Experience Points (XP)
Experience Points (XP) represent an individual player's progress and experiences throughout the game. XP will be available to all players both in and outside of the classroom. However, XP points do not represent a student's course grade, the curriculum grade and the XP will be kept separate for the entirety of the school year. Out of respect for players, course grades will be kept private while XP will be shared publicly on the game leaderboard.
XP can be scored through a variety of activities, both graded and ungraded assignment completion may include:
performance and quality of Crew Quests, in which students work in small groups to complete in-class activities.
completion of non-graded Side Quests displaying high standards or creativity, effort, and quality.
Power Up Item Cards awarded to players throughout the game and used during class activities.
earning various badges throughout the game; however, the XP amount will be kept secret until the games completion and awarded in May.
discovering in game Easter eggs, completion of "classified" Hidden Quests, and other game secrets.
Mini Badges
Mini Badges
Mini Badges can be awarded to players who display the Keys of Purpose Driven Learning: confidence, initiative, empathy, focus, resilience, enthusiasm, effort, dependability, creativity, curiosity.
These ten skills represent the qualities present in successful people. All players should strive to demonstrate and show growth using these skills on a daily basis, both in and out of the classroom. Mini Badges will also earn players XP, but the point value will remain a hidden until the end of the game.

Mastery Badges
Mastery Badges
Mastery Badges can be awarded to players who go above and beyond to show mastery of content and skills throughout the game. The owner of these badges will acquire unique abilities with each new badge that will help benefit the player or the player's crew throughout the game.
Each Mastery Badge available will have different requirements that a player must meet using specific content and skills learned throughout the year. These badges will be displayed both on this page and on the classroom badge board when they come available. Some badges will be available to earn the whole earn and some will have an expiration date, so don't wait to long to claim them!
Mastery Badges will also offer players XP and possible special items, but unlike Mini Badges, Mastery Badge XP will be awarded once the player has demonstrated all the badge requirements.
USING Flipgrid-- most Mastery Badges will require you to use the app Flipgrid. You should open up the Flipgrid app on your iPad and then enter the flip code --> badges
Locksmith Badge
Players wanting to earn the Locksmith badge must demonstrate mastery over their locker. Being able to utilize your locker is essential for success in 6th grade and the faster you can get into your locker consistently, the better off you'll be. Length Badge
Every good agent can take measurements using a ruler, one of the most basic science tools. Players who can show mastery or how to measure using a metric ruler will earn this badge, but it won't be easy. You will need to go on a little scavenger hunt or in this case a #FlipgridHunt. Canvas Badge
Canvas is an important part to life at HHMS and players who can show mastery over this important tool can earn this badge to show off their Canvas knowledge to all within the corporation. Be prepared to show your knowledge across all your classes - not just science.
