Play high-value cards early. Reduce your points in case another player goes out unexpectedly.
Save Wild and Wild Draw Four cards for emergencies. They’re your strongest tools—use them to change momentum, not just convenience
Keep a balanced hand of colours. Don’t burn through one colour too quickly; variety gives you more options each turn.
Track what colours other players struggle with. If someone keeps drawing, steer the game toward that colour again.
Watch players with low card counts. Reverse, Skip, Draw Two, and Wild Draw Four can all stop someone from going out.
Bluff cautiously with Wild Draw Four. You can play it only when you have no matching colour—if you bluff and get challenged, you draw 4 cards.
Use Reverse strategically. Great for dodging danger—especially if the next player is sitting on a Draw Two.
Match number rather than colour when possible. It hides information and keeps more options available for future turns.
Pay attention to cards being played. Noticing patterns (like someone avoiding yellows) lets you anticipate their weaknesses.
Call “Uno!” immediately when you hit one card. Don’t hesitate—other players love catching you before you say it.
