Mass: Students will attend and participate in Mass. 

Grades & Papers: Student papers and tests will be held in the classroom and stapled in a packet and sent home every 3-4 weeks. All grades are posted on PowerSchool. If you are not signed up, please make sure you create an account!!  Check often to keep up with your child’s grades. Report Cards will be sent home after every quarter.

Folders: Student folders should be taken home daily and may include homework, receipts, and notices to parents.  Academic practice logs will be in these folders.   Check this folder daily and initial the academic practice log nightly

Birthdays:  Treats HAVE TO BE individually wrapped!   NO Snoball and NO PEANUT PRODUCTS.  Birthday treats are enjoyed at the end of our day. (2:45)

Conferences:  Fall conferences are scheduled in October & all parents are requested to attend.  Spring conferences are optional and based on student needs.

Water Bottle:  Students are encouraged to bring water bottles.  This cuts down on time traveling to and from the drinking fountain and germs that are spread at the drinking fountain. Water bottles need to be clear plastic water bottles with a hook for hanging and a leak proof caps.   (if an "open" bottle is knocked over, NO water should spill out!)  No larger than 32 oz and plain water only! Example water bottle below. 

Jackets: I like to keep my room cool!  I encourage students to bring HFE jackets with them and leave them in the closet for the week.  The student closet is cleared out on Friday.  

Nails: Students are not allowed to wear fake nails.  These nails cause problems in class with learning to write cursive.

You earn money for the school and money toward your tuition!  

Ask us for details if you aren’t quite sure how HFE BUCKS works.

Home & School Meetings:  

We’re not proud, we are begging you to attend!  Please!  This is a great way to hear all about what is happening in the school and give input.
