Bereavement
2020 -- The International Center for the Study of Loss, Bereavement, and Human Resilience, was established in the Spring of 2010. In 2020, the Center transitioned to become the International Laboratory for the Study of Loss, Bereavement and Human Resilience. The University of Haifa established a unique framework to study loss, bereavement and resilience. The organization, building on the expertise of those affiliated with it, has served as a focal point for research, collaborative work, and the dissemination of knowledge on this important topic. The center and laboratory answered a need that has existed for many years in Israel for an independent research center, which combines cutting edge academic research with clinical expertise to engage with persons active in this area in Israel.
