This program open to select candidates in the mental health professions. (In 1990, the program was reestablished under the aegis of the Department of Psychology).

A particular focus of the sabbatical year was on professional and biomedical ethics and included: serving with the Children’s Hospital Ethics Advisory Committee; serving as instructor of the University of Massachusetts – Boston Clinical Psychology graduate course in Professional Ethics and Standards; and attending courses, seminars and related events of relevance to this area. Clinical consultation on issues of loss and bereavement.
