Dr. Yoel Asseraf

Dr. Asseraf (PhD 2014, University of Haifa) is lecturer and head of the marketing and international business programs at Ruppin Academic Center, Israel. His research focuses on the intersection of strategy and international marketing. Recently, his research on ‘tug of war’ inside consumer minds has been published in the European Journal of Marketing (co-author with Prof. Aviv Shoham).

Dr. Amos Baranes

Dr. Amos Baranes earned his PhD from the University of Chicago, and is also a Certified Public Accountant in the United States. He worked at PWC as a Senior Economist in the field of Transfer Pricing. At Lexecon Inc., Dr. Baranes developed the practice of Corporate and Asset Valuation. He also founded the company AVNAT Ltd., which provides business intelligence services to financial institutions. In addition, Dr. Baranes is the founder of Africa Industrial Business Center (AIBC), which provides consulting services in the fields of Business Intelligence and Training for Financial Institutions in several countries in Africa. He lectures advanced courses in Entrepreneurship, Finance and Information Technology and carry out research in using XBRL data to forecast financial performance implementing advance algorithms.

Prof. Nahum Biger

Canadian and Israeli citizen.

Professor Biger is a Full Professor of Management and Financial Economics. He is associated with the Faculty of Management at the University of Haifa, in Israel, as an emeritus professor of financial economics, and with the Peres Academic Center in Rehovot, Israel.

Professor Biger was the President of the Carmel Academic Center in Haifa, Israel between 2009 and 2016.

Dr. David Bodoff

David Bodoff is a Senior Lecturer in The School of Business Administration at the University of Haifa. His research is organized around the central topic of search, with three specific focii: (1) consumer search behavior, online and offline; (2) technical aspects of information retrieval (aka search engines); (3) information and financial markets; (4) machine learning in organizations.

Prof. Mashor Housh

Prof. Housh is a faculty member at University of Haifa in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Faculty of Management. He joined the University of Haifa in October 2013 after a two-year Post-Doc at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).

Prof. Housh received his Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Technion in 2007. His undergraduate studies focused on Hydrodynamics and Water Resources Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. (direct track) in Hydrodynamics and Water Resources Engineering from the Technion in 2011. His research interest covers: Optimization under Uncertainty, Robust Optimization, Large-Scale Optimization of Infrastructure Systems, Planning and Management of Water Resources Systems under Uncertainty, Design, Operation and Monitoring of Water Supply Systems.

Dr. Graham Jackson

Dr. Jackson is one of Israel's most experienced and respected lecturers in Marketing. Over the last 15 years at the University of Haifa' Faculty of Management has taught about 2000 students in various MBA courses in Marketing Management, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Communications and Marketing High-Technology Products. He also currently teaches an Executive-level MBA course on Doing Business in China. He has won numerous awards for excellence in teaching.

Prof. Dominique Jolly

Professor Dominique Jolly is Chair of the Walker School of Business and Technology at WEBSTER University in Geneva and Visiting Professor at the Center on China Innovation at CEIBS (Shanghai). He is teaching Business Strategy and Doing Business in/with China in several MBA Programs around the world. He has published four books on Chinese Business firms and Chinese society.

Prof. Ronny Manos

Ronny Manos lectures in finance at the College of Management, Israel. Her PhD in Finance is from the Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham. She has taught at various institutions including Cranfield School of Management; Open University, Israel; the International Executive Program of the Zicklin School of Business in Singapore, Taiwan and Paris; Haifa University; and at the Technion, Israel. She teaches a wide range of courses including corporate finance, financial management, investment theory and applications, quantitative tools for finance, international finance and small business finance.

Dr. Tuvia Melamed

Tuvia is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist with 30 years experience in the fields of business psychology. In 2009 he started a new talent management business – ClearWater A&D – specializing in OD Product development, executive coaching, leadership development, and psychological assessment. Tuvia combines a unique blend of strong technical knowhow with practical and commercially grounded consultancy skills. This mixture is reflected in his background. He worked in the consultancy field for several niche as well as large consultancy firms, and gained exposure to an impressive client list from Central and Local government and from blue chip private sector. Most recent roles were at Director and Equity Partner levels where he headed practices (Assessment, Coaching, and Resourcing). He spent his earlier career in academia – where he was a Senior Lecturer at several universities and a Director for an MBA in a Business School.

Dr. Mahmoud Qadan

Mahmoud Qadan is Assistant Professor of Finance in the School of Business Administration at the University of Haifa. His research interests are in the areas of asset pricing, the microstructure of capital markets, financial econometrics, and behavioral finance. Dr. Qadan has also won prizes for his teaching and research.

Dr. Steven Raj Padakandla

Dr Steven Raj Padakandla is Assistant Professor at Institute of Management Technology, Hyderabad. He teaches Macro Economics, International Business and Geopolitics. He holds a masters in Economics from University of Hyderabad and Ph.D from Andhra University. Prior to joining IMT, Dr Steven worked in several corporates as Economist and Sr. Analyst and was also associated with policy think-tanks. He regularly contributes opinion based articles in various national and international newspapers and magazines.

Prof. Sheizaf Rafaeli

Professor Sheizaf Rafaeli (B.A., Haifa University, M.A. Ohio State University, M.A., Ph.D., Stanford University) is Founding Director of the the Center for Internet Research (InfoSoc, the Center for the Study of the Information Society) (1998 - present), and former Head of the Graduate School of Management (2005-2011), University of Haifa Israel.

Prof. Chalom Schirman

Chalom Schirman, Associate Professor, is the Head of Haifa University International MBA.

He has been Associate Professor at the Graduate School of International Management of the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC), Paris, from 1995 to 2010, International Dean of SIMBA (Shanghai International MBA), a joint venture between the ENPC-MBA and the School of Economics and Management of TongJi University in Shanghai (1999-2010) and Head of IEDP (Corporate Managerial Programs) at Tongji University until 2015. He has been teaching at the Technion MBA (2000-2006) and in Haifa U MBA Programs since 2007.

H. Laurence Shaw, MD

Dr. H. Laurence Shaw teaches Entrepreneurship in International Business to the International MBA Course at the University of Haifa.

He is the founder of Human Life Sciences, an international life science consulting practice that focuses on improving the productivity and profitability of Life Science companies.

Prof. Chen Song

Professor Chen Song, Deputy Dean of the School of Economics and Management (SEM) at Tongji University in Shanghai. Ph.D., Tsinghua University; M.Eng., Chongqing Jianzhu University; B.Eng., School of Urban Construction, Chongqing Jianzhu University. Among his research fields: Technological Innovation Management; Economic Evaluation of Technology.

He is a Professor in School of Economics & Management, Tongji University since 2002 and former General Manager of Chongqing Consul Project Management Co. China State Construction Engineering Corporation.

Dr. Kimberlee Weaver

Dr. Weaver Livnat received her PhD in psychology from Princeton University and completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is an expert on persuasion, social influence, and the presentation of information. Her research has been published in leading journals in psychology and consumer behavior such as the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Consumer Psychology, and the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology.

Her work has been frequently featured in the business and popular press in outlets around the world such as the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes magazine, Time magazine, Boston Globe, Scientific American Mind, NPR, ABC News, Fox News, MSNBC, Times of India, The Globe and Mail (Canada), the Times (London), Der Spiegel (Germany), International Business Times (Australia) and Chosun (South Korea). Since January 2022 she is the head of the MBA Program Specializing in Sustainability.

Dr. William Weisel


William Weisel (BA, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA); JD, Loyola University School of Law) is an attorney and has been General Counsel of five leading, Israeli publicly-traded companies over the past nearly 30 years. He is a lecturer for the International MBA Course at the University of Haifa, teaching a course he developed called "Business & Law Convergence" where the primary legal issues facing business managers are presented and discussed. He is the author of the article published in The Legal 500's General Counsel magazine (Spring 2015) entitled, "Deal Breaker to Deal Maker".

Dr. Dora Cohenca-Zall

Dr. Dora Cohenca-Zall is an independent project management consultant, particularly for large infrastructure projects in their early phases of project definition, strategic planning, and procurement strategies. In recent years, she was involved in two of the largest projects in Israel: The Carmel Tunnels project in Haifa and the Light Rail Train project in Tel Aviv. Prior to these projects, she worked as a consultant to the UN in large organizational change projects in Paraguay, South America. She teaches project management courses to graduate students at both the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and the University of Haifa. She obtained her BS in civil engineering in Paraguay and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. at the Technion in Israel.
