Pick up in the bookstore on April 27
Hang up gown immediately and follow instructions for removing wrinkles.
BSN graduates will receive their stole at the pinning ceremony.
International students will receive their stole after graduation rehearsal.
Honor Roll and Dean's List cords will be handed out on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
Graduation Applications are due on March 6. The link is on My Hesston (screenshot).
Rehearsal attendance is required for all participating graduates:
Nursing Pinning Rehearsal: Friday, May 15 at 8:00 a.m.
Meet in the Hesston Mennonite Church Sanctuary
Required for all BSN graduates
Graduation Rehearsal: Friday, May 15 at 10:30 a.m.
Meet in the Campus Activities Center (CAC gym)
Required for all graduates!

8:00 a.m. BSN graduates line up for Pinning in HMC Community Center
8:30 a.m. Nursing Pinning, Hesston Mennonite Church sanctuary
10:30 a.m. All graduates line up for Commencement in the CAC.
Students must wear their cap and gown to participate. Tassels go on the right side. Don’t throw your gown away after the ceremony - please put it in the 10-Day Give box if you don’t want it.

11:00 a.m. Commencement, Yost Center
Reception in the Lark Plaza after commencement. Don't forget to pick up your new alumni gift!
12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. - Diploma pickup in Alliman, 2nd floor
No tickets are needed for graduation.
There is no restriction on the number of friends/family members who may attend.
There is no early seating or reserved seats for guests. Seats will only be reserved for graduates, college personnel, and others who have a part in the commencement ceremony.
A livestream is available for friends and family who are not able to attend.
Pick up: You may pick up your diploma after Commencement, 12:30-1:00 p.m.
2nd floor of Alliman Administration Building
Bring photo ID: student ID on your phone, drivers license, or passport
Mailing: If you do not pick up your diploma, it will be mailed to the address you provided in your graduation application.
USPS: all United States addresses
FedEx: all international addresses
If you petitioned to walk, your diploma will be mailed to you when your final grades or transfer transcript is received.
Final grades will be posted for graduates on Friday by 8:00 a.m.
After your final grades are posted, download a PDF of your unofficial transcript on My Hesston. Keep this for your own records. In the future, you will be able to log into My Hesston as an alumni at retrieve your unofficial transcript. The registrar's office does not send unofficial transcripts.

You may request your transcript now and choose to hold for final grades or hold for degree.
You should always have your official transcript sent from Hesston College directly to the recipient. Do not send it to yourself.
If you need to fill out a Petition to Walk form, you will receive an email from the registrar's office with details.
Students petitioning to walk need to send proof of enrollment in the required class(es) to registrar@hesston.edu by April 15.
Enrollment can be:
At Hesston College (summer class or fall class if you are returning)
On Acadeum - Directions to create your Acadeum account.
This is a good option if you wish to improve your GPA or want to have the easiest enrollment process.
Meet with your advisor to plan your course(s) and contact registrar@hesston.edu for enrollment.
At another accredited college or university. Before you enroll in the course, contact registrar@hesston.edu for pre-approval. After the course is completed, send your transcript back to Hesston to transfer the credits.
This is a good option if you want to find a less expensive class. Transferred classes must have a grade of C or higher and are NOT factored into your Hesston GPA. Talk to your advisor about your best option.
If you have an Incomplete Grade Agreement for a class, you will be asked to fill out a Petition to Walk form. The registrar's office will contact you with details.
You will receive your diploma by mail after your final grade or transcript for a transfer course is received by the Registrar's Office.
Library: Please return any library materials you may have. You will be charged for replacement plus a $5 processing fee if you do not bring items back.
Google account & Microsoft 365: Students can access their Hesston Google account and Microsoft 365 for one semester after you leave Hesston College. If you want to keep any of the your email, files, or other items stored in your Hesston account, please move them to a personal account before the end of the next semester. You may be prompted to update your password at login.hesston.edu.
My Hesston: The personal email address you used in your graduation application will become your new alumni login for My Hesston. You can access your unofficial transcript on My Hesston as an alumnus. The registrar's office does not send unofficial transcripts.
Business Office: The business office will mail financial statements to the address you gave on your graduation application unless you have made other arrangements. You will not be able to pay your bill through My Hesston, but you can contact the business office about electronic payment options (620-327-8219).
Moodle: You will no longer have access to Moodle after you leave Hesston College.
