Hello! I am your second grade teacher, Mrs. Macias.
I am so excited to be your second grade teacher and I really look forward to meeting and learning about each of you. We are going to have an amazing year together!!!
The picture to the left is a picture of me when I was in second grade. I went to school in Hesperia for Elementary, Junior High, and High School. You are probably wondering what your second grade teacher is like, so let me start by sharing some fun facts about me with you!
This year will be my fourth year teaching second grade at Joshua Circle Elementary. You have probably seen me come into your classroom when you were in first grade to teach you some Kagan Structures....they are so much fun!
When I am not teaching, grading, or creating fun activities for our class, I enjoy spending lots of time with my family. I am married and have one dog. We enjoy going camping, going to the lake, and visiting with family.

Belle Roo!
This is our doggie, her name is Belle Roo! She will be five years old in November. Belle enjoys going on morning walks, playing fetch and tug-o-war, giving high-five, getting belly rubs, eating treats, and snuggling.
Baby Boy!
I am already a mom to our sweet doggie Belle Roo, but in November I am also going to be a mom to a baby boy! We have not picked out his name just yet, so maybe you could help us with his name?
When he arrives in November, I will be taking some time to take care of him and spend time with my family. Starting in November, you will have a long-term guest teacher who is already so excited to be your teacher while I am away. Don't worry though, I will keep in touch with you and I will be back in March to finish our school year together!
