Apply for Summer 2026 if you are taking summer classes. Apply Fall 2026 if you are taking fall classes.
After 72 Hours You should receive an email from VVC with your student information.
If you had previously applied to VVC for Dual Enrollment or Early College Academy or for CTE Class Articulation you will not receive an email. You would have received the email the first time you applied.

Make a list of classes you are interested in taking per your Career Goal.
Step 1: Complete the FREE FAFSA or Dream Act application (undocumented students).
If you are attending college Fall 2026 apply for 2026-2027 School Year.
If you are attending college Summer 2026 you must also complete a 2025-2026 financial aid application.

Make sure that you have your correct major listed. If you need to change your major use the VVC Student Update Form
If you have not yet decided on a major or degree, you will have to choose one to start your education plan. VVC does require you to have a major on file for your education plan. It is highly recommended that you complete major requirements along with your general education requirements if you are planning to transfer to a 4 year university. There are three academic objectives you can complete at Victor Valley College:
Occupational Certificates,
Associate's Degree
Transfer to a university.

Make sure that your Financial Aid Application has gone through and you do not have any hold or document verification requests.

Have you completed your financial aid application? Make sure to double check that VVC was listed on your financial aid application so that they can receive your financial aid application. If you are missing a parent/guardian signature, your application will not go through!
Double check that you have not been selected for verification and you do not have any holds on your account!
Make sure you have no pending fees! If you have a fee and miss the payment deadline, you will be dropped from your classes!
Victor Valley College (VVC) supports the educational, personal, and career growth and development of our students and embraces a diverse student population. AB 540 students, also known as DREAMERS, are students who presently do not have legal residency status in the United States. In 2001, the state of California made it possible for AB 540 students to attend a California Community College (CCC), California State University (CSU), and a University of California (UC) and pay in-state resident tuition as long as the student meets the following requirements:
Attended a California high school/adult school for at least three years;
Graduated from a California high school/adult school, passed the GED/HiSET or passed the California High School Proficiency Exam;
Are registered or enrolled at a public institution of higher education in California;
Complete an AB 540 California Nonresident Exemption Request
Notice: If you don't meet the requirements for AB540, please see if you meet the requirements for in-state tuition (via AB2000 or SB68) and the CA Dream Act by viewing this grid.
In addition to applying to VVC, AB 540 students will need to provide proof (documentation) that they meet the above requirements by submitting the below documents/forms to Admissions and Records (Bldg. 23):
Official high school/adult school transcripts (sealed);
Original high school/adult school diploma, or GED or HiSET pass results/scores; and
A VVC ID Card is required for all students and must be presented to access specific classes, computer labs, the weight room, and the library.
After you have registered for classes, take a valid I.D. and a copy of your VVC Registration Statement to the Associated Student Body Office in Bldg 44 to receive your VVC ID/ASB card.

Certain programs at VVC may require additional equipment supplies or uniforms for the classes. Please be mindful of these additional costs!
Canvas is the portal that the campus uses for online cases.
To access canvas go to www.vvc.edu and click on the Canvas link or MyVVC at the top of the page. The login information is the same as Webadvisor.
There is also online tutoring services through Canvas and the school should you need any assistance with your classes.

Please note: If you do not see all your courses listed on your Dashboard, select the "All Courses" link at the top of your page. There may be a possibility that your instructor has opted not to publish their course and use a different method to communicate with you. Check with your instructor for detailed information if you do not see a course listed.
You should schedule a meeting with a VVC Counselor during your first semester at VVC to complete your Educational Plan. VVC counselors specialize by major so it is very important that you have the correct major listed on your Navigate so that your educational plan is correct and you meet with the correct counselor.
To set at a counseling appointment, log into your MyVVC and click, "NAVIGATE STUDENT", then click on the "Appointments" link on the left.
