HUSD Information Technology (IT)

2 students at a time. Students on alternate days.

Shadow and assist an IT professional in the field at various locations. Address IT issues and problem solve.

HUSD Print Shop

1 Student, 2 times a week, 3 hours at a time.

Shadow various areas of production and staff. Assist where interested.

HUSD Maintenance (M&O)

1 per trade

Shadow and assist in area of interest. (carpentry, plumbing, welding, electrical, HVAC, etc.)

HUSD Mechanic (M&O)

2 students at a time. Students on alternate days.

Shadow and assist with mechanical repairs on vehicles and equipment.

HUSD Grounds (M&O)

2 students at a time. Students on alternate days.

Landscaping, installing and repairing irrigation systems and grounds maintenance.

HUSD Transportation (M&O)

2 students at a time. Students on alternate days.

Laws and rules of transportation.Logistical coordination.

HUSD Custodial

2 students at a time. Students on alternate days.

HUSD Family Resource Center

4 students at a time. Students alternate days. 2 shifts AM or PM.

Office Site: Help with setting up for classes, meetings and conferences. Assist with the caring closet. Answer phones, help with student registration, distribute food boxes and assist in classes and workshops.

2 students at a time. Students on alternate days.

Assist one third grade teacher and two SAI teacher work with smalls groups.

HUSD Mesquite Trails Elementary

Will place as many as apply.

Assist in K-2 small groups and classroom assistance. Based on student grade level interest.

HUSD Carmel Elementary

One student per class.

Assist in classrooms where needed.
