Early College Academy
What is ECA?
The Early College Academy (ECA) is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for your student to complete college-level courses while in high school. In collaboration with Victor Valley College (VVC), Hesperia High School (HHS) has designed this program to help HHS students get a head start on their college education by taking college classes during the regular school day.
Students who are a part of ECA are a part of a cohort. It is designed as a 3 year program with students starting in 10th grade and continuing into their Junior and Senior year.
The program is free with absolutely no cost to students. Students can potentially earn up to 40 college credits during the three years. Most college credit earned through the program can be applied toward earning an AA/AS degree at VVC or be transferred to a university.

Your welcome email will contain your VVC ID Number and your MyVVC Login information
If you previously applied to VVC and do not know your VVC ID number please email rebecca.rubio@hesperiausd.org
*Students who have an active VVC ID number (meaning you are currently taking a VVC class and plan to take one again the following semester DO NOT have to reapply to VVC. You must reapply to VVC if you have not be actively taking VVC classes as your ID Number is inactive.
Step 3: Attend the Student ECA Orientation with Parent/Guardian
Students who are approved to participate in ECA will receive an invitation email to the ECA Orientation. Orientation will take place April 2024.
Step 4: Submit your Dynamic Form - CCAP Dual Enrollment
Dynamic Form Steps
You will need your MyVVC login and VVC ID Number to access the Dynamic Form. That information was sent in your VVC Welcome email. ECA students have to complete a form each semester to enroll in the ECA classes.
You must complete a new Dual Enrollment Form each term you are enrolled at VVC.
BE VERY CAREFUL FILLING OUT THE FORM. If you list your parent/guardian email address incorrectly they will not receive the form. If they do not sign the form, then HHS will not get the form to sign!
Start Here: Use your MyVVC Login from your VVC Welcome Letter to initiate the form: Click Here for link to Student Form. If you encounter any issues accessing the form, don't hesitate to email for assistance.
Step 2: Add a parent email address to the form. (Their email address must be different than yours. The form will not send to them if the email is listed incorrectly).
Verify that you have Hesperia High School listed as your school and the CCAP Coordinator is Rebecca Rubio - rebecca.rubio@hesperiausd.org. We will not recieve your form if another high school is listed.
Step 3: Your parent or guardian will then create an account and log in to sign their part of the Dual Enrollment form. (They will need to create an account, and save their username and password.) After they create their account, they will need to log back in and then sign and SUBMIT the form.) Link to Create Parent Account Please ensure that the parent's account email matches the email address you listed on the form. If they haven't received it, you can visit the counseling office to get assistance with resending the form to their email. We do not receive your form until your parent signs it!!!!
Step 3: Once the form is completed and signed by your parent/guardian, it will be sent to CCAP Coordinator Rebecca Rubio for approval. Afterward, courses will be verified for students to be enrolled. The signed form will then be submitted to VVC Admissions.
Please remember that submitting this form is crucial for your enrollment at VVC, and you won't be able to complete the enrollment process without it.
Step 5: Official Acceptance to ECA
Students who have completed all steps and are approved to participate in ECA will receive a welcome email with their class information.
