FAQ:
How many parties can I have?
Members are allowed one party per month (non-resident members one party of more than 6 guests per year), but remember that the facility can not be reserved for private use. We ask all party requests to be made at least a week prior to the requested date (party schedules will be posted on this web site), and that other members respect all other guests at all times but particularly in the event of a scheduled party.
Can I schedule the Center for my exclusive use?
The rec center is provided and maintained for the use of all members, no exclusive party bookings are allowed. If you would like to schedule the tennis court or inside racquetball or basketball courts you may request that and in most cases with due notice will find that the other members will respect that wish, but you should not expect to have the swimming pool to yourself or your party.
What if I'm not happy with my membership?
If you decide for any reason within one (1) week of your initial membership that you're unhappy with the facility or for any other reason you may request a full refund (minus a $10 fee for the key which has to be returned). After that, point no refunds will be provided. We strive to make this a fun and positive environment for all members, if you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact one of the board members.
Can I schedule other events at the Rec Center?
Most likely, understanding that it's not possible to exclusively reserve any area of the facility (particularly the swimming pool which is in high demand). Let us know if you would like to reserve the facility. The Heritage Meadows Rec Center is a recognized non-profit owned by the residents of Heritage Meadows neighborhood, proceeds are used for maintenance and upgrades, and as long as the board and our insurance carrier don't prohibit the activity we will consider it.
Emergency Contact information
If there is an emergency call 911 immediately. If there are security issues, inappropriate behavior or unwelcome visitors during the day, first try to contact one of the board members and if necessary call the police.
