Unit 2 - Who am I?
This unit will explore who we are and connect this understanding to a career that is suitable. You wil represent yourself (and your findings) by creating documents that you can use in the job application process. You will learn about: the development of the teenage (and early 20s) brain, personality types, learning styles, and personal traits in general. You will also learn about what to include in a cover letter and resume as these documents are a reflection of who you are for a potential employer.
Lesson 2.1 - Introduction and Changing Brain
Good afternoon folks,
Today we will begin unit 2. We will focus on the big ideas of the unit and begin to explore who we are as we are becoming young adults. Today you will:
1 - Review material from last class. Submit your Assignment.
2 - Explore how we perceive ourselves and how we present ourselves to others.
3 - Explore how our brains develop and how this impacts our decision making but also offers incredible benefits.
4 - Explore how we make life decisions and the impact these decisions can have on our personal well being as well as our future.
