What Are We Learning?
Reading- ELAGSEKRI7: With prompting and support, describe the relationship between illustrations and the text (how the illustrations support the text).
ELAGSEKRL5: Recognize common types of texts (e.g., storybooks, poems).
Writing- ELAGSEKW2: Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to compose informative/explanatory texts in which they name what they are writing about and supply some information about the topic.
Math- K.NR.2.2 Count forward beginning from any number within 100 and count backward from any number within 20.
K1: I can count forward beginning from any number within 100.
K2: I can count backward from any number within 20.
Science- SKE2. Obtain, evaluate, and communicate information to describe the physical attributes of earth materials (soil, rocks, water, and air).
