I have been in education and in Henry County since 2013 and have an immense desire to share innovative learning practices with teachers and non-teachers alike. I think it is vital that everyone in the community participates in some way in the education of our children - it truly takes a village.
I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Secondary English Education, have spoken at state and national conferences regarding best practices and authentic learning, and was a contributing author to the English pedagogical text, Towards a More Visual Literacy. I actively seek out opportunities to share the amazing things that teachers and students do in their classrooms. I am incredibly proud to work in Henry County Schools where each student is valued for his or her differences, and I am honored to get to share the stories of teachers and students at Locust Grove High School.Â
