I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University.
I have taught and co-taught various subjects during my career, including, band, chorus, orchestra, general music, reading, ELA, U.S. History, World History, Government-Economics, Environmental Science, Biology, Earth Systems, Physical Science, British Literature & Composition, World Literature, 9th Grade Literature, and College Readiness Math.
When I'm not at school, I serve as a part-time pastor at Powder Springs Christian Fellowship (Church of God of Prophecy) in Powder Springs, GA. I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, writing, reading, playing piano, swimming, gardening, grilling, and occasionally horseback riding. I'm also proud of my family: my wife Agatha (married 25 + years), my three kids Olivia, Javier (HHS Class of '25), Freddy, and my granddaughter Journey...plus my dog Sadie and our cat Rose.
Love Purple, Live Gold.
