The goal of this weekly gathering is to allow students to test different technology and engineering products and concepts, identify common problems and offer insights from a student's viewpoint before teaching them to the broader classes. The Beta Testers play an important role in this process, as their feedback helps the teacher understand what aspects work effectively for each grade level.
The Beta Testers Hangout provides a safe haven and enjoyable environment for students to interact with peers who share their passion for technology. It fosters social-emotional connections and empowers students to explore and expand their technological interests.
It’s a hangout (not a club), with like-minded students who want to learn and grow in STEM.
The Beta Testers Hangout also caters to students who are not currently enrolled in a technology class but have a genuine passion for technology and engineering. These students are motivated by their love for the subject and are dedicated to learning, supporting, and exploring technology beyond the confines of regular classroom settings. Participating in an after-school environment allows them to actively engage in their interests without any scheduling limitations.

If your student is a self-starter, can work independently, works well with others, displays respectful behavior, and displays active engagement and responsiveness to course-related programs, this hangout is for them! Please know that spaces are limited and are based on a per-needed basis.
It's true; they do get snacks before we start the after-school sessions. If you would like to support us by providing snacks, please let us know. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
