Google Meet for Teachers

Google Meet is another great tool for having virtual meetings with your students and parents. You can see everyone with Tiled view, share your screen, and mute individual students. Scheduling

  1. Usually teachers want to get the links out to their students ahead of time, so this is the way to do that.

  2. Go to http://calendar.google.com and click on a date and time for your meeting. Add a title, like "Class Meeting."

  3. Click "Add rooms, location, or conferencing" and choose "Add Google Meet video conferencing"

  4. Copy the link and hit the "Save" button.

  5. If you'd like to set up a recurring meeting on the same day every week, click your event and hit the pencil icon to Edit it.

  6. Click the "Does not repeat" button and choose how often you want it to recur.
