Below are course descriptions for the electives. Many also have a video linked in the course title for your convenience.

AP Science Electives

AP Biology: Students will cultivate their understanding of biology as they explore topics like evolution, energetics, information storage and transfer, and system interactions.

AP Chemistry: Students will cultivate their understanding of chemistry as they explore scale, proportion, and quantity; structure and properties of substances; transformations; and energy.

AP Physics 1: Students will cultivate their understanding of physics as they explore concepts like systems, fields, force interactions, change, conservation, and waves.

AP Environmental Science: Students will cultivate their understanding of the interrelationships of the natural world as they explore; energy transfer, interactions between earth systems, interactions between different species and the environment, and sustainability.


College Prep & Honors Science Electives

After taking the required Biology course you will get to choose from:

Bio II: Anatomy and Physiology, which is the study of the human body.

Physics 1, which is the study of matter and how things work.

College Prep or Honors Chemistry, which is the study of what everything is made of.
