Mrs. Robin Milwit has been a part of the Greenwood Community for the past 15 years as both a parent to two former Greenwood Gators and a teacher embarking on her 11th year! She taught in Maryland before moving to Glen Allen and is certain that there is no school quite like Greenwood! She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) and received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Education. Her love for teaching began when she was fortunate enough to receive an internship with the Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. There, she learned the magic of helping children thrive on their curiosity, become sincerely empathetic, and discover their purpose and potential by appreciating their authentic selves. Mrs. Milwit believes in helping children understand that “what is mentionable is manageable,” and her goal for this year is to give her ‘Milwit Marvels’ the building blocks to form the highest and truest expressions of themselves. The word, “Marvel” is the universe in which superheroes live. It also means, “to wonder.” This school year, her little superheroes will be able to see themselves in everything they learn. They will ‘marvel’ at the amazing things they will be able to do by the end of the year and they will do it with a sense of belonging, lots of giggles, challenges, and encouragement. Outside of school, Mrs. Milwit is a fitness instructor at American Family Fitness and LOVES to root on her Steelers! She lives with her husband, Kyle, her two children, Zack and Cammie, and her crazy dog, Milo. She is SO EXCITED to meet her new Milwit Marvels!!

She loves utilizing the House System to encourage community, independence, and ownership. Her philosophy revolves around equity and inclusion, acting as a facilitator to meet all students’ needs. Ms. Smith knows that with a positive outlook and the will to make it great – we will have an amazing year! Let’s Go Gators!
