To be considered for selection in the Deep Run High School Chapter of the National Honor Society, please complete the following:

Selection Process Information

• Component 1:  Candidate Demographic Information

  • • Students self-report demographic information (name, grade, etc) on the form (linked above)

• Component 2:  Candidate Activity Form

  • • Students list involvement in leadership, service, and other community activities.  The form will be uploaded to form linked above in Component 1.

• Component 3:  Leadership Essay

  • • Students submit a typed essay (1500 character limit) that outlines your leadership experience in the school and community.  Use this template for your response.

• Component 4:  Community Service

  • • The number of community service hours recorded at the school will be collected by the advisers.  All hours should be recorded here.

• Component 5:  Faculty Evaluations

  • • Character evaluations from faculty members will be collected by the advisers.

All sections of the candidacy packet must be complete by 3:55 pm on Tuesday September 23, 2025.
